Art Club 44
Spend a night with Kiev's student body and the metropolis's literati at Art Club 44 on the famed Khreshchatyk promenade. Arrive early to catch the free, nightly movie at 7:00 p.m. Then stay for the live music performance at 10:00 p.m. Need a wi-fi connection? Rumored to be owned by the Klitschko boxing brothers, Arena is a massive entertainment complex next to the famous Besarabsky Market. In addition to a gigantic dance floor and state-of-the-art sound system, Arena also houses a sports bar, beer house and karaoke lounge.
Disco Radio Hall
Ever been to a floating nightclub? If not, Kiev's Disco Radio Hall is your chance to do just that. Every Wednesday through Sunday, a massive barge leaves the pier and heads out into the Dnieper River. The vessel is so large that three separate venues are able to operate on the drifting boat - a Japanese restaurant, karaoke bar and Disco Radio Hall. The crowd is diverse, the pop 80s music will lure you to the dance floor, and the party doesn't end till 6:00 a.m.
CCCP
Just like its namesake, Kiev's CCCP restaurant is huge. Traditional Ukrainian and Russian dishes are served and the wait staff dress is historical, Soviet-themed uniforms. If you go, be sure to try a glass of Uzvar - a yummy, smoked-fruit beverage. CCCP is downtown near the Great Patriotic War Memorial.
Da Vinci Fish Club
If you want to see and be seen, get reservations at the Da Vinci Fish Club in the Volodyrmyrski district. The patrons are posh and your taste buds will delight in the restaurant's delectable, Italian-influenced seafood dishes.

Shooters
For a more casual vibe, head over to Shooters. Owned by Scottish ex-pats, Shooters is a favorite of westerners traveling throughout the Ukraine, as there is always a beer and a smile waiting for anyone feeling a little homesick.
